The Land

Our winery is in the Ribera del Duero 'quality wine' region. It is placed in the north plateau of the Iberian peninsula, where the four provinces of Castile and Leon, Burgos, Segovia, Soria and Valladolid meet.

Wine has a very important role in the history of Ribera del Duero since the Romans established here, through its relation with monasteries in the Middle Ages, to our days with the Ribera del Duero regional regulatory council.

Our climate is Mediterranean/Continental. This climate has long cold winters, moderate rain and big changes of temperature. This characteristics help the grapes for the perfect ageing.

Our tempranillo vineyards are between 15 and 20 years old. They are planted in a typical soil for Ribera del Duero with high quantities of limestone and low presence of organic compound that has a positive influence in the quality of our grapes.

The vineyards are almost 800 metres above sea level, in the locality of Olivares de Duero.

We take care of vines, year after year, always looking for the highest standards, following traditional methods.
